Ah, but the karaoke from the pub was a laugh! Heard every lyric and drunken chat, so I couldn't leave the window open—my mum wasn’t thrilled for her birthday gift either. Room could've used a good hoovering, too.

If you value peace, consider that some rooms sit right above the bar, where noise could be a bother, especially when hoping for a quiet night’s rest. don’t expect breakfast with your stay, as that’ll cost extra, which feels a bit off for the price paid.

We had WiFi sorted out thanks to the bar staff, which was helpful. Really friendly atmosphere, and they gave us a lift to the wedding when taxis didn’t show up!
